I was born in a small city 3 hours south of Atlanta, to an American mother and Iranian father, and grew up in Thailand and Germany, frequently visiting family in Tehran and Atlanta before moving back to the States in 2004 to finish high school.
In 2010, I graduated with a Liberal Arts degree from a women's college, and in 2013 I received my Masters of Education with a Montessori concentration (and an Association Montessori International Primary Years Diploma). From there, I moved to Boston and began working as a nanny and in-home Montessori consultant all the while building my first business, Kit + Cook - a mealkit company that I never launched.
In 2015, I moved to Atlanta and co-founded The Ghannad Group, a leadership development company that guides leaders in creating cultures that deliver extraordinary results, with my dad, mom, and brother. On the side, I purchased a home, renovated it, and opened my doors to Airbnb guests and earned the distinction of SuperHost. Currently, I serve as the Director of Business Development for The Ghannad Group, where I get to drive the direction of the business and work through every step of new product development and branding.
My boyfriend and I live in Manhattan with our dog, Blue (who is actually black).
